Well, if Joey Votto’s girlfriend Jeanne Paulus still dates him, it strikes me as mildly surprising. However, I can’t find any evidence she is not. They dated for a very long time when we first wrote about her back in 2013. Now, she still lives in Florida. Since it is no secret that Joey was a resident of Sarasota, Florida back in 2010, it remains plausible they are still a couple. An a Herald Tribune article from 2010 in Sarasota, the article talked about Joey being just another resident of Sarasota. Even though he won the MVP Award that year!
I can tell you Jeanne keeps very busy in Sarasota. She appears very focused and organizes many community events. I will be honest: Joey Votto’s girlfriend organizes and takes part in these events all the time, and I have a real difficulty understanding what any of them actually are. For example, she is a member of something called The Junior League of Sarasota. Jeanne recently participated in a thing where women and young ladies buy a dress at a Goodwill Store and then put a pop of color on it. I guess the point is to instill confidence or something. Anyway, they all seemed to enjoy themselves in the photos.
Joey Votto’s girlfriend also participates in Foundation committee meetings that are aimed to fight cancer. I understood that one because it’s fairly straightforward. However, she participated in one called Ponies for Pups. I couldn’t tell if it was serious. The event featured a picture of a dog leading a horse around by the use of a rope in the dog’s mouth. It struck me confusing. Is it a charity event? The caption Jeanne put up for the event also didn’t really explain what the event is. She simply said “anything can happen!” Okay! Let’s get this dog to lead a horse around!
