Kyle Shanahan’s wife Mandy Shanahan is the mother of their three children. The couple married in 2005, and is hitting the big 1-5 in 2020. They are definitely continuing to thrive. And that is saying something
Why’s that?
Kyle and Mandy met way back in the 1990’s and attended the same high school. That’s incredible to still be rolling tight in their third decade together. They both grew up in Colorado since Kyle is the son of the famous Broncos coach Mike Shanahan. I saw pictures of them as fresh-faced youngsters. It’s a cute scene because they spent the better part of their lives together now. This is a very common trend among players and especially coaches. Remember: stability and support is key in the upper echelons of sports.
The couple married when Kyle realized he secured a safe coach gig with in Tampa as “Offensive Quality Control Coordinator.” I have no idea what that means, but I will assume it’s just “Offensive Coordinator.” You should always strive for quality, as far as I’m concerned. Kyle Shanahan’s wife Mandy Shanahan gave birth to their children shortly after. They are named Carter, Stella, and Lexi. Once Kyle decided on his career, I don’t think there was any question that he didn’t have a huge leg up on the competition. True, he still had to prove himself, but we can’t deny nepotism played a role. That’s not a strike against Kyle, either. He does a good job.
It’s a good life!
For Kyle Shanahan’s wife, life is very rewarding. The kids are growing into individuals, Kyle is bringing home the bacon, and the family and extended family is strong and supportive. Mandy definitely attends games at home, and she watches all the away games provided she’s not busy. The fine the NFL incurred on Kyle back in 2012 taught him a valuable lesson. I wonder if Mandy thought it was cool? Aside from the financial consequences, I would consider it a bit of a cool move to be fined by the NFL. I speculate, but perhaps Mandy saw Kyle as a badboy in that moment?
