People in general love a good underdog story. So seeing 17-year old Beau Hossler rise towards the top of the US Open was obvioulsy a huge story. People couldn’t get enough.
But you know what people like more than a good underdog story? A good underdog with a hot mom. Beau Hossler’s mom Amy Balsz was shown briefly on TV yesterday and the Internet blew up. “Amy Balsz” was a trending topic on Twitter almost immediately. We really don’t know much about her at all other than that she is separated from Beau’s father (Beau Sr.) and is now married to Matt Balsz. She also attended Laguna Hills High School in Laguna Hills, CA.
