Rumors of the two being an item began in June while Josh Hopkins, of ABC’s Cougartown fame, engaged in a tweet fest at the ESPN sideline analyst and every SEC football fan’s wet dream. While neither party commented on their relationship, they were rumored to have had dinner together during the 2011 baseball All-Star game in Arizona.
They were recently photographed at Lollapalooza together, and went so far as to tweet the picture. Of course in this day and age, any time a single man and woman tweet a picture, they’re dating, right?
There have been rumors before of both Erin and Josh being in relationships that didn’t turn out to be true. Most notably, Josh was rumored to be dating Cougartown co-star Courtney Cox immediately after her separation from David Arquette. Courtney strongly denied any relationship on The Howard Stern Show.
Again, in this case, there’s absolutely no confirmation that they are together, and we have nothing to go on other than the occasional tweet and internet rumor. Now, we clearly had to put this post up to satisfy the many denizens of this site, but we’ll happily admit there may very likely be nothing to this. Until there’s some confirmation from either camp, we’ll let the single kids have fun.
