Melvin Upton’s wife Stefanie Upton married him on December 5, 2015. Boy, the internet is mean when it comes to Mr. Upton. Lots of people like to talk all manner of trash about the fellow. I am not going to talk at all about his career performance as a baseball player. Instead, I’ll focus on everything we know about Stefanie. I will also casually mention that Melvin used to go by the name B.J., and that stands for “Bossman Junior.” He does not, however, go by Bossman Junior any more! I wonder if Stefanie still calls him Bossman Junior, though?
They do care for Melvin’s son, Riley. We still don’t know if Riley is Stefanie’s son too. I imagine he is, but there’s no confirmation. Their son was born in May of 2010. When Stefanie moved to Toronto with Riley, there was probably some mixed feelings about the relocation. After all, they lived in San Diego before the trade. Stefanie was definitely happy about the contracts that Melvin secured through Atlanta and San Diego, though. Now that he’s doing sort of decently, she’s happy too. I know Melvin Upton’s wife Stefanie watches the show Homeland with him. He was tweeting about when Brody died and then apologized for spoiling. Watching Homeland with your wife is good quality time.
Melvin Upton’s wife participated in one of those player wife fashion shows to raise money back in 2012. This is actually one of the only places you can find her picture on the internet. If you observe the way Riley takes Stefanie’s hand in one of the only photographs of her, you will probably assume she is his birth mother. He clearly has a close relationship with her. This could come from simply getting to know her at a young age, but I doubt it. Anyway, Stefanie is now a Canadian, for all intents and purposes.
