Yo and Patricia Gallardo are both graduates of Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth, TX. After graduating in 2004, the baseball complex at Trimble Tech has since been named the Yovani Gallardo Baseball Field. The couple has a son in first grade, Yovani Jr. Yovani Jr. was born in August of 2005. Patricia and Yovani Jr. do not travel to Milwaukee to spend the entire season with Yo Sr. They stay in Fort Worth where Yo Jr. is in elementary school.
Yo will take the ball in Game 1 of the Brewers 2011 NLDS though no word is Patricia will travel to Milwaukee (or Arizona) to take in what is arguably the biggest game of Yo’s life.
