Is Marcus Stroman’s girlfriend Hildy Hahn Donner?

Marcus Stroman’s girlfriend is an interesting topic since we first wrote about this in 2014.  So, I ask you this, internet:

Is Marcus Stroman’s girlfriend Hildy Hahn Donner?

There’s a few reasons why I think they could have at least dated for a hot minute. The number one reason is, of course, the Duke University connection.  Miss Hildy works at the Duke University Hospital, and Marcus attended Duke. So did Marcus get injured at one point and then bump into her at the hospital? I mean – he was recovering from the torn ACL that year while taking classes at Duke,…. soooooo. It’s kind of a big coincidence that she works there and he attended there, but then again coincidences do happen.

There’s also the matter of the timeline. Can Marcus Stroman’s girlfriend be Hildy if she was attending college in 2012? Marcus was originally drafted into the MLB in 2009 but attended Duke until 2012, so that could very well mean they bumped into each other during college. Now, Hildy attended Appalachian State University, which is a two-hour drive to Duke University if you’ve got the pedal to the metal. I’ve even seen pictures of Hildy partying with her friends at Duke University (though I’m assuming it’s Duke since there was a Duke logo on the fridge). I also know for a fact that she’s attended college baseball games (or practices) since she took a picture of herself at one.

Any evidence or what, you chumps??

The last piece of evidence to present about Marcus Stroman’s girlfriend is from the source directly.  I mean, called her “my girlfriend” in a tweet back in December of 2012. He said, “my girlfriend with a Blue Jays-themed tutu on.” Now, sometimes when a pro athlete calls someone his girlfriend, he’s just kidding around. The actual girlfriends tend to not want to be seen at all by the media .  OR, they tend  to really want to be seen a lot by the media. And let’s be honest.  We haven’t seen anything since we wrote this post in 2012.  This case is sort of in between. It seems unlikely they’re together in any serious capacity.  She’s never posted a picture of Marcus on her own social media, and you’d figure if they were for real she’d have at least acknowledged him in some capacity. Well, she’s still a cute girl with curly hair and a nice smile. For at least one tweet,… she held the infamous notoriety of Marcus Stroman’s girlfriend.
