Pete Alonso’s girlfriend is about to become Pete Alonso’s wife. The up and coming king of non Yankees New York, is tied down for the long haul. But, he for one is here for the commitment.

This kid seems to get it. He digs being with Haley and is totally happy for the world to see it. These two have been together since college. Pete did the deed and dropped to one knee in November of 2018.

There is no current date scheduled for their wedding, but their shell of a wedding website says “Date To Be Announced – New York, NY”. In a post COVID-19 world, who knows when the world will be back to doing big, fun weddings again.
Young, but already charitable
Following his 2019 Rookie of the Year campaign, Pete was ready to give back. And impressively, Pete Alonso’s girlfriend (and soon to be wife), decided it was time to give back. In the spring of 2020, the two announced the formation of “Homers for Hero’s” designed to give back to the every day heroes all around. Pete and Haley were originally set to honor 1-2 heroes a month, but then decided the world needed more. An open letter:
Dear All,
Particularly in these difficult times, heroes are even more important, super to the survival & well-being of our society. Our mission at Homers for Heroes is to honor those heroes, to uplift those who go above & beyond their call of duty, to use our incredible platform to amplify those special messages, heartwarming stories, and the heroes that touch our hearts.
We originally set out to honor 1-2- heroes a month, but as Haley & I have been reading through some of the awe-inspiring hero nominations we’ve received, we realize there are simply too many to share!
This season we are launching 60 Heroes in 60 Games– an inspirational campaign, for a most exceptional baseball season. We will be honoring 60 heroes over the baseball season and sharing their stories on social media.
