Miles Mikolas’ wife Lauren Mikolas has ascended to her own celebrity status.
It all started in Japan
And, actually if we’re being fair, it’s probably best to leave the explanation to Miles Mikolas’ wife herself. In a post explaining how it all went down on the Palm Beach post, Lauren explains how the Mikolas family became celebrities during his time in Japan. Baseball is bigger than any other sport there, and when your husband goes out of his way to acknowledge and thank you in the press,… well the press takes notice.
Miles thanked me in his interview, and I blew him a kiss. The whole stadium erupted in cheers when I blew that kiss. It was all over the news the next day and in the papers. They were all saying that it was like a movie moment. My 2-day-old Twitter account went from 20 followers to 3,000 in a matter of hours.
Since then, a lot of opportunities have come my way. Miles and I got our own baseball card, I am the first wife in history to have a baseball card!
I have done commercials, been on a few Japanese TV shows, in a few magazines, in countless newspapers, and been involved in a few movie promotions. I do interviews about how to cook healthful recipes and how to feel strong and confident. As the brand ambassador for Under Armour Japan, I’m trying to change the notion — still popular in Japan — that women should not exercise or play sports because those are masculine pursuits.
It’s fantastic read about the life of an American transplant making the transition to Japan.
You can read plenty more from Miles Mikolas’ wife, too!
Penned by her, might we add.
Lauren Mikolas runs a successful blog, called Fearless Charm. It’s a brand she’s worked extensively. It’s also her Twitter handle, Instagram and oh you know…. the title of her book! Fearless Charm is designed for “fearless women hustling to make it all work with a little charm.”
Lauren is a renaissance woman. It’s a remarkable life she’s lived, which included time as an elementary school teacher, blogger, author, wellness coach, International commercial star, Under Armour ambassador, and a UFC ring girl. Who else do you know that can claim all those job titles on a LinkedIn page?

But, there’s one job title that isn’t going to show up on her LinkedIn, but that might be the most impressive title of all. Mother to three kids age 2 and under. I have 3 kids age 7, 4 and 2, and god bless this woman.
Their first child was born in March of 2017. Their twins came in July of 2018, right in the middle of Miles breakout season with the Cardinals.
Like, right in the middle.
Miles was selected to the 2018 All Star Team. And, the Cards representatives were lucky enough to head to the game on the Cardinals team private jet. But, unfortunately for Miles, the trips on the plane were the beginning and end of his All Star week. Right as he landed, Miles got word that Lauren went into labor. One quick 180 and he headed right back to Jupiter Florida to be with his family.
