Kennedy Meeks girlfriend Erin Flowers is in the business of saving lives.  It’s interesting.  Sometime we learn about the girlfriend of a sports star, and it really puts the business of sports gossip blogs into perspective.  (Spoiler – We don’t really matter).

You see, Kennedy Meeks girlfriend is out there saving lives.  Erin Flowers is a bone marrow transplant nurse.  Despite graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, Erin now works for the enemy, Duke University Hospital.  She has been working at Duke since May of 2015.Again.  Saving lives vs a basketball rivalry puts things in perspective.  And don’t get it twisted.  This woman is saving lives.  A bone marrow transplant nurse?  Yeah, she’s doing God’s work folks.  My father in law went through multiple bone marrow transplants.  I have seen the impact that the nurses make for people going through something as difficult as a bone marrow transplant.  I cannot say it enough.  Erin Flowers,… hell anyone in that unit, is an incredible person

Now listen.  Don’t go getting mad at Kennedy Meeks girlfriend for the whole Duke hospital thing.  Besides you know,… saving lives she still has priorities in order.  Her basketball loyalty still clearly resides with the Tarheels.  She changed her Facebook profile picture to one captioned “GO HEELS” during last year’s tournament.  It’s clear she still roots for the good guys.

As for Kennedy, he roots for the good ones too.  In his abbreviated Instagram career, he made sure to point out that Erin is “FINE TING #hvd”.  Honestly, I don’t disagree.  I mean, she is a fine ting.  No debate here.  If she is in the crowd for Sweet 16 tournament action, she’s definitely the type that the broadcast will find.  Meeks should be seeing some interest in the 2017 draft, so there’s even more opportunities for Erin Flowers to catch camera time.
