Chase Daniel’s wife Hillary Daniel was quick to announce her “obsessed” status with the city of Philadelphia. That of course was back when Chase was with the Eagles. She’s the enthusiastic type. I get the sense she was kind of over Kansas City. I guess Google Fiber isn’t enough to keep people living there? Well, Hillary is a native of the city so perhaps it was time to strike out on her own and start an adventure. No matter, the couple kept themselves busy with plenty of community events like the “Night of Wishes” event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation back in September of 2015. In the summer of 2015, they made the requisite pilgrimage to one of the Disney Theme Parks. This is a rite of passage for any young sports couple. Hillary called the them of the Disney Theme Park experience “sweating and waiting.” Chicago seems to have received them with open arms. And, the Daniel’s are happy to reciprocate the love.
Back before the pro days
Hillary originally attended Missouri University as did Chase. The couple first met there in 2007, but they lost touch when Chase entered the NFL and started playing for the New Orleans Saints. Chase Daniel’s wife somehow reconnected with him in April of 2011. They started a long distance relationship which included Skype calls and plane rides in January of 2012. Though they weren’t dating each other from April to January, but were reconnected as acquaintances. That doesn’t really add all the way up to me, but I guess they were just chatting online and flirting.
Dating commenced for real in January of 2012, though Chase spent much of that time playing for Kansa City. So that means a year and a half of long distance relationship. In February of 2014, Chase proposed to Hillary. He’d arranged for both sides of their families to travel in to Kansas City for a celebration afterwards. I have to imagine it would’ve been a bleak get-together if she’d said no.
Hillary is a huge fan of the show Seinfeld and often manages to find ways to bring it up in her social media activity. Even though she’s owned all the seasons on DVD for ten years, she was psyched to learn they’d be on Hulu. Hilary is one of those people that can quote from any episode. I’m sort of one of those people too. Chase Daniel’s wife Hillary also has a little Pomeranian named Bear who she shares pictures with and makes jokes about.
