Lovie and Mary Ann have three sons together, Mikal, Matthew and Miles.
Lovie and Mary Ann founded the Lovie and MaryAnne Smith Foundation, which works to raise college tuition funds to help underprivileged children. In addition to this foundation, the couple also spends a lot of time working with the American Diabetes Association and the Ronald McDonald House.
