OK, so try to follow:
Let’s start with the easy facts.
Reggie Bush dated Kim Kardashian for a turbulent 3 years before calling it off in 2010 (though, rumors still persist to this day that Kim’s undying love for Reggie is what split up her marriage with Kris Humphries).
The Louis Vuitton Don, Kanye West dated video vixen/rap groupie extraordinaire, Amber Rose from 2008 through 2010, before the two split (and long before she was rumored to be hooking up with Amar’e Stoudemire).
Both couples ended their relationships in early 2010, and rumors have swirled since suggesting a bit of a lover’s rectangle. The story goes that shortly after his break from Amber Rose, Kanye West filmed a spot for one of the dozen of Kim’s reality shows, “Kim and Kourtney Take New York.” During the shoot, the newly single Kanye ran game on the freshly single Kim, and the two hooked up. Again, that’s how the story goes. To be fair, Amber Rose and Kanye West had a bitter breakup, and plenty of people believe that the tryst with Kim took place while Kanye and Amber were still together.
To add to the story fun, Amber Rose is rumored to have hooked up with Reggie Bush around this time. Whether for fun, or jealousy, or revenge, or two celebrities wanting to hook up, doesn’t matter here. These were nothing more than crazy stories that were fun to believe which served as great gossip fodder for TMZ, Us Weekly, and in a sad trend of late, PlayerWives.com. There was no confirmation
Until Now.
Sorta.
Amber Rose went on the Wendy Williams show today, and in a surprising turn of events, she actually asked some questions about these rumors. When asked about the Kanye West and Kim hooking up, she laughingly replied, “I mean, come on — you know. Come on! We’ll keep it cute.” When Williams went on to ask about Amber’s relationship with Reggie, she had some more pointed words :”I’m not a homewrecker. I broke up with Kanye and he broke up with Kim. We met after. We were both going through a hard time. We were each other’s rebounds. It was brief, it was nice, he was a great guy.”
So while this isn’t confirmation, it’s at least something. A non-denial is admittedly not an admission, but, it’s something. I assume there will be more out of any one of the four camps shortly, and when there is,… we’ll be there.
