PK Subban’s girlfriend Adora Nwakwesi is a rehabilitation therapist working for a home health care company in good old Toronto. After PK’s scary neck injury, that’s going to come in helpful. Toronto’s a magical land where you can phone up a health care company, have a professional rehab therapist drive to your house, and pay no money at all for the treatment. It sounds like a good deal, right? Well, Adora graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelors in Health Science and has prior experience in physiotherapy as well as a fairly long history working with after school programs and environmental projects. She also has a certificate in project management.
Before she was working out people’s mending ligaments and bruised muscles, Adora was putting that certificate of hers to good use and managing a project to help farmers switch to organic farming practices. That included helping with the farming work itself. In that case, it was coffee plants. PK Subban’s girlfriend Adora was working for a silent auction company before that. She was coordinating all the auctions and items and setting everything up. In case you were wondering, no– she was not that one announcing “going once, going twice, sold…” They were all silent auctions.
I cannot completely confirm that PK Subban’s girlfriend was on hand for this, but I can confirm that PK himself joined the long list of athletes who have hung out with the great and charismatic Snoop Dogg. It was only a week ago that he joined the ranks by presenting Snoop with a Canadiens jersey with Subban’s name and number on the back. I can only imagine how many sports jerseys Snoop Dogg owns or has owned throughout his life. It’s got to be in the hundreds. He seems to hang out with more athletes than Kevin Hart. Aside from meeting Snoop, PK himself recently met Kobe a few months back. PK’s undoubtedly been inspired by Adora to help out with causes for kids. It’s nice to see couples who spend time lending a hand to communities.
