Elizabeth Beisel’s boyfriend Nick Alexiou is her ex and not present bae. I am about 85% positive these two are split up. There’s a few reasons why I’m pretty sure they are no longer together. The most obvious reason is that he has not shown up in her social media stream in any way since July of last year. The next reason is Nick’s own social media cover photo features him with another woman. It could be his sister or buddy, but I highly doubt it.
I should just come right out and say this: Elizabeth should start dating Ryan Lochte. They’re like best friends and Olympic training partners and they should just get together already. Yes, it is true that Ryan Lochte is dating Amanda Sauer (we’ve already gone over this before), but she needs to break up so she can come date me. Okay, how ’bout that? She does call him her best friend and big brother, so it might not work out.
Elizabeth is a very solid pianist. I thought everyone should know that because playing a musical instrument is incredibly rewarding. I listened to her play a sonatina on Instagram. She was in Nashville and decided to share her talents in mid June. Elizabeth is also the owner of one very charismatic and stately dog. I believe that the dog is a miniature Australian Shepherd but I could be wrong. The dog’s name is Chico and he is pretty darn funny.
While still competitive, Elizabeth is on the friend-building tip these days. She has said that attending the Olympics now is becoming more about the friendships than it is about winning gold. Hmm, that sounds like a good attitude if you don’t want to win gold. On June 26 her Olympic Trials in the 200m were not too good. She didn’t place, but she does have a spot on the team. Elizabeth Beisel’s boyfriend (again, probably ex-boyfriend) Nick is busy building his own friendship now with his new girlfriend.
I myself am a fan of Elizabeth’s energy and personal drive. She has said that her will to win is what drives her, and I admire that kind of raw competitive honesty. There’s none of this “God puts me on my path to succeed” stuff, although that’s perfectly fine if that’s what it takes to get you in the mood to destroy all competition too. The man who was once Elizabeth Beisel’s boyfriend will almost certainly not be attending the Olympics this year, and that’s a bummer but if she’s truly single and ready to mingle then watch out fellow Olympians!
