There’s not a whole lot of chance that Serena Williams’ boyfriend Drake is going to stay her boyfriend or ever was her boyfriend. He probably needs no introduction because he’s a famous rapping guy who makes songs about how he doesn’t need any new friends. Question is, does he need a new girlfriend? He was making out with Serena at some Italian restaurant in Cincinnati. And we’re going to level set…. I mean look, they’re probably not dating, but using boyfriend is so much easier to say than defining Drake as “Serena Williams back of the Cincinnati restaurant makeout partner. Everyone ok with this? OK. Going on.
I’ve never listened to Drake’s albums, but I think I like him as a public persona. I mean, the guy’s picture with Anna Wintour is enough to make me like him. He seems to have a pretty good sense of humor (even though the grand old dame Madonna punked him). Serena Williams’ boyfriend would certainly have to keep busy so as not to get lonely from her not being around. She’s the busiest woman in tennis, right? Well, Drake sure as hell keeps busy. The thing is, if you were Drake, would you even consider settling down at this point? There’s only one answer to that question. On the other hand, Serena is about to finish out her career, and maybe it’s a good time to start thinking about finding a guy to kick it with. It’s always tough to have a relationship with a pro athlete because of all the traveling, and I have no idea how it would be to have a relationship between the biggest pro tennis player and one of the biggest rappers. It’d be good headlines though.
It’s not necessary to really get into what these people do on their off days, but just in case you’re wondering: they do expensive, VIP-type stuff. What does that entail? Rule number one: if you have a picture of you and Kevin Hart hanging out, you’re approaching VIP status. Seriously, every big-timer hangs out with Kevin Hart. I’m not a Kevin Hart fan, but maybe that’s why I’m not a big-time VIP. Serena Williams’ boyfriend Drake, of course, has the requisite picture of him and Kevin hanging out, and I’m sure sometime in her life Serena has run into the guy. He’s a global brand. Asking whether Serena has run into Kevin Hart is like asking has she seen a McDonald’s. I can sense it when someone’s fame is big enough for a Kevin Hart pic. She takes pictures with famous-for-nothings like Kim Kardashian, so pictures with famous-for-talent people are fully expected. Did Drake continue texting Serena after their make out sesh?
